- Beginner: Just starting out? Get hands-on help from experienced cubers.
- Intermediate: Ready to improve your times? We’ll use presentations and videos to sharpen your skills.
- Advanced: Mastered F2L, OLL, and PLL? Learn advanced techniques from a CFOP expert.
By the end, everyone will be solving the cube, and we'll wrap up with an unofficial competition to experience the excitement of cubing! Join us for a fast-paced adventure full of twists!
When: Alternate Fridays, 3:15 p.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Evan Yao (WCA ID 2021YAOE02) is a Senior at Newark Academy. He is a swimmer, trumpet player, and hobbyist in fish keeping and speedcubing. He learned to solve a 3x3 at age seven and has reduced his average from 35 seconds to 8-9 seconds, with an official 8.72 average and a 6.95 single. He is also passionate in the Clock and 5x5 events.

Eddie Yao (WCA ID 2021YAOE01), a 7th grader at Newark Academy, enjoys collecting Pokémon cards, playing soccer, and speedcubing. Taught by his brother Evan at age eight, he now has an official 3x3 average of 14.39 seconds and an 10.02 single.

Carson Widjaja (WCA ID 2018WIDJ01), a junior at Summit High School, enjoys basketball, tennis, and plays cello and piano. He learned to solve a 3x3 in 2018 at age 10, and since his first competition with a 28.67 average, he has improved to an official 6.95 average and a 5.18 single, both ranking in the world's top 100. At home, his best times are a 5.62 average and a 3.89 single. He now averages in the high 6 seconds and is also ranked in the top 64 globally for Square-1.
